This wine is produced from the Nerello Mascalese grape which is indigenous to Sicily. The wine shows a ruby red colour, on the nose of minerality like earth, followed by notes of sweet spices like vanilla and cinnamon. The palate is dry, with a medium palate and elegant tannins which are supported by characteristics like black berry and blackcurrant followed by a hint of thyme.
